Both the tree and the water prints stem from my drawing of the bark of a Pear tree that was planted in the 1940's by my maternal grandfather.
In 1951 he was picking vegetables near the lake and stepped on a cottonmouth snake that bit him. He later died.
The Pear Tree is a connection in time.
